One of the things I admire greatly about many designers is that they aren't afraid to step out of the box. They go beyond designing homes or commercial properties and step into the world of business. (Interior design is a business in and of its own), but what I am talking about here, is the ability to come up with a concept of their own, brand it and sell it to the consumer. Good examples would be setting up their own textile, furniture, room spary, candles, carpet (etc.), lines.
Patterson, Flynn and Martin recently debuted their flooring line of carpets. The carpets are hooked farmhouse style as well as hand tuft wool and viscose. The patterns are beautiful. Not plain and solid colors but true creativity can be found here. Check out www.PattersonFlynnMartin.com
