This desk is beautiful. It has character because of it's age and the purpose it has set out to hold. It is colorful, bright, inviting and it captures ones attention.
It is most likely not a ready bought desk. It seems to have been made by whomever owns it. A board was likely laid atop the supporting legs. And the chair and mirror were painted a simple white. The rest of the items were purchased in the same color for a splash of attention. This is a prime example of what some attention to attention to detail, creativity and color can do for your decor.
We don't need to search high and low for the ideal "piece." Sometimes our "ideal" is found in our creativity. It is most likely not a ready bought desk. I personally think this desk would be beautiful in a teens room or even an area too small for a regular size desk. In my old house I had a space under my stairs that fit a desk I made similar to this one. People loved it and I got more compliments from it, than from those pices I purchased that were store bought.
Design, creativity and passion for your environment doesn't have to be expensive, just well thought out.
