I WANT TO RIDE AN ELEPHANT!

When most people hear the word "design," they immediately think of interior design, fashion design, and the like.  But rarely does one think of the field of Industrial Design.  A field whose work we encounter daily. 

Within the field of industrial design, we find the realm of transportation design."  Which I am sure was involved in making this grand Robot-Elephant.  Isn't it beautiful?  


Built in Western Coast of France as the Machine of the Isle of Nantes.  It is a cultural event that brings people from France and around the world together in a world of fantasy and excitement!


The Mechanical Elephant is 40 feet high X 8 meters wide. 


It is made of recycled material.  About 45 pounds of reclaimed wood and steel.   49 passangers at a time can enjoy it's beauty while riding it.  And their walk can last up to 45 minutes.  Amazing isn't it?!
